We've lived here 18 years and this year's been the worst for mosquitoes in the house. No plants indoors, we spray the entry ways all the time. But dogs going in and out is the main problem.
Flies haven't been too bad, and we have a crazy horse lady as our back neighbor.

I’m beginning to see a few. We have been Mosquito free for the most part this year until now. The flies seem to be worse by some margin. The snakes have been out the last week or two, I have seen more then than I have seen all together since spring. I was laying on the ground welding a bearing hanger on my offset and a copperhead slithered up to check on me. He lost his head!

I haven't seen flies like that, but when I went in the gate Friday in NW Jack Co. I got swarmed by mosquitoes. A bunch got in my truck too. They weren't that bad on the rest of the place.

Flys were baf here June and early July. Mosquitos haven't been an issue so far, knock wood.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

Flies haven't been too bad, and we have a crazy horse lady as our back neighbor. Didn't realize it was that common. I thought I was the only one getting torn up by skeeters in the house. They don't bite anyone else. Just me

Haven’t had any skeeters all year. Pretty sure they’ll be showing up soon though, after the wet September.

Dang, that will keep you in the truck. I was down in Donna a few months back and the mosquitoes were swarming outside of truck, it is like they knew we were there. I got out to get the gate and couldn't do the lock combo they were so bad. All of the stores from Harlingen to Mission were out of bug spray. We finally got a can from another contractor or we never could have worked.

No flies here, but some skeeters. Not too bad. The nephew in from southern Arkansas said he liked that we had no skeeters, so it must be worse up his way.

Was at the lease from Wedn thru Sat. Skeeters were pretty nonexistent until Friday them oh wow. It was just crazy. Never seen them so bad in seven years, Had to have OFF and a strong fan blowing in the blind. I'm more concerned about catching West Nile than the China virus.

Creekrunner , I think of that every time I BarBQ, I use a cover on the unit, when I pull it off and open the door to turn the gas on, It makes me very aware of that great dark hiding area.

I'm not making this up. It happened years ago. Some friends and I decided to camp out on the beach at SLP. We brought some of our supplies in a washtub. I was standing there when a swarm of Mosquitos attacked. I ducked under the tub with the hammer in my hand. The Mosquitos started drilling little holes in the tub with their beaks. I commenced hitting their beaks with the hammer thus flatting the beak to the tub. Finally the Mosquitos started flapping all of their wings at once and flew off with the tub.
