Kyle and I discussed a challenge that we really thought was just a fantasy but tonight after watching this ram feed for nearly 45 minutes he made the fatal mistake right before dark so we turned it into a reality! To have it all on video makes it that much more special and we cant wait to share it with you all.

You are looking at an Aoudad ram measuring 36 3/8” and unofficially scores 159” SCI which is now the new pending SCI record for a high fence Aoudad ever harvested with a shotgun in Texas and top 25 ever recorded for SCI! We aren’t talking about a rifled barrel shotgun with a high powered scope as we upped the ante and did it with a BERETTA A400 with factory sights and a Federal Premium 1oz - 2 3/4” rifled slug!

Kyle made an absolutely phenomenal shot at 25 yards from our MB Ranch King Hunting Blinds and this dude hit the ground like a sack of potatoes!

This is one of those hunts that no one involved will ever forget regardless of measurements or scores as it was a flat out special moment that took team work and blessing from above to pull off! 

I want to know how you loaded him up in the bed of the truck.

An absolute beast. Congratulations to the hunter and the outfitter.

As a big fan of buckshot and slugs for deer and hogs, taking a brute like that with a slug is really special.

We where rifle hunting a platinum Aoudad but took the shotgun just in case he made a fatal mistake of getting close enough and he did just that on the second day and we got the record and top 25 overall!
