Holy shot in the pocket book Batman. I check ammo seek every day. Cheapest price I saw was $1.02 per round. Only thought 9mm was high @ .62 cents each.

supply vs. demand...yea, it sucks
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Blame Ruger...they started the little 380 pocket pistol trend with the LCP. Plus, they priced them cheap enough that when you fill the magazine you've got more in ammo than pistol now

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

Treat it like gold and use sparingly. When thing settle down remember these days and buy AMMO throughout the year and never get caught short again.

Janie,
I just went and checked my .380 ammo.
I have...
1 WWB FMJ, full 50 rounds 1/2 box don’t recall the name FMJ’s about 20 rounds left in box 1/2 box of Remington hollow points (small box prob 15 rounds)
I don’t own a .380 and haven’t for years.
My 788 in .223 is getting low on Hornady VMax 55 grains. I’ll meet and swap ammo if you’re interested

Walmart once held a 20% market share of the nation's ammo business. At the time of their announcement they would stop selling handgun ammo, the company CEO said he expected it to drop to somewhere between 6% and 9%.
No doubt their competitors are the ones now benefiting most from their decision.

There are places in the Metromess where it can be found now and then. Of course we always have the auction sites. But fairly easy to find in the used market. But though I look at the BigBox stores and sports places, I do so for oddball ammo and to share news with others. I don't expect common critters in there this year.
