So I am putting together a list upwards of 20 kids for this coming deer season to come out shoot a doe maybe pigs if time permits. With our family ranch and a few ranches I work with we always have an abundance of doe tags. So I would like to try and get kids out for their first or second deer. If your kid has already killed a handful of deer this isn’t for them. We usually host a children’s home hunt or two every year I wanted todo something a little more this upcoming year.
Also anyone comes on a trophy hunt they can bring a kid free of charge and shoot a doe or two.
So if you have a kid that fits the category please send me some information I can put them on a list.
Thanks in advance and have a great day

That's awesome Kimber. Have you considered working with Texas Youth Hunting Program for this? Or, a little different, the Texas chapter of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers has started an adult mentored hunting program. This young adult generation, Millennials as we often too broadly call them, has been missed in hunting and are ready to learn and become hunters. I am a huntmaster with both programs, both work under the Texas Wildlife Association, and I'd be glad to help out in any way I can. Another idea is the Texas Brigades program has kids who have hunted not at all or very little, even though they are at a wildlife management camp.
In any case, great on you brother for doing this, God bless you for it!

That is a awsome way to introduce hunting to youth, and help keep it alive.
If I'm not hunting something I must be dead.
