Leupold Mark 4 Tatactial 4.5X14 at Midway now for $699.00 received one in the mail yesterday. They also have a higher powered one for $999.00.
These are discontinued and won't be around for long.
My wife and I will both be shooting them on Saturday.

In that price range....Sightron 10-50x and Nightforce BR 8-32x or 12-42x. Probably have to go used to the the NF. Weaver makes a fixed 4?x something that is considered the budget minded BR scope.
I have put the BR stuff on hold because my time dedication isn't there and that is a game where you have to shoot weekly at minimum in my opinion to be competitive. So I have a NF benchrest 12-42x np2dd that I'll sell you for $950 if you want it Buzz. Big Fitz bought one of my guns and said he would sell it recently....be a good platform to start with...unless you are talking 100/200y group shooting, it's too heavy and won't make weight for that.

A used nightforce 12-42x is going to be your best bet Judd is offering you a nicely priced deal!
I’d try and steal it from ya but I just bought 2 of them Mark 4’s from midway and am in the dog house with the wifey!
The old Leupold competition 36x scopes are selling for around $450 used they are excellent for 300 yards and in.
You could probably snag a 45x Leupold off accurate shooter for about $650 if ya look hard..
May even get a used March off there for around a grand I’ve seen one or two pop up on their trading post like that..
