Those magnets that you stick to surfaces and then hold your gun? How did they do?

I've got one screwed under my desk right now. It holds a Glock 19 sideways but you have to put the magnet back by the grip because of the extra weight of the magazine.

That's about as big a gun as I'd go. I've tried some larger ones on it and it feels a little sketchy.

Mine is screwed in. Would never trust double stick tape.

I’ve heard of the magnets moving the internals of safeties and/or magnetizing them. And for that reason, I’m out.

I have always wondered if the gun got magnetized... But, I see people ask about these on all the gun forums. And, the responses from everyone is that they work great, and the claim is that none of them have ever had the gun get magnetized...

I am still skeptical, because that can happen with other items on a magnet... But, I have yet to see anyone claim this happened to their gun. And, I am on just about all the gun forums.

I've had them in trucks mounted under steering wheel. They will hold a full size 1911 with no issues.

If the magnet is near steel it's going to get magnetized.

We have magnets from TacXPro and Foxx . We love them. We’ve had no problems whatsoever.
