Last weekend I was up in Melissa for a baseball tourney. Dropped in the Cabelas in Allen and they had some Retumbo. I snagged a pound as I am down to about a 1/4 of a bottle. Was about 28 plus the tax. Over on the Texas Gun Trader forum, a guy has some advertised at 150/pound or a 8 pound bottle for 700. That laugh is on me.....................

Sad part is that somebody will buy it at
that price.
Same person likely bought some of that
$75.00 .22 ammo back a few years ago

It just amazes me how people don’t stock up when supplies are available. 9mm was at 16-18 cents a round, 223 was 25-30. Powder, primers and bullets almost everywhere you looked. Now it’s crazy what people are having to buy it for.

First off....that’s insane!!!! Secondly, I hope that is a sign that it’s coming.
Finally...I don’t knock anyone for stuff like that...if a gentleman has a bunch of money in the bank and no Retumbo then one issue solves another. I’ll never hate on someone for trying...but that is just CRAZY!!!!

Joke was on me today at Scheels !! I walked up to the gunpowder display, saw all this powder. Spotted an 8# of Varget.. grabbed it up.....Jug was EMPTY as were all the other empty DISPLAY bottles. JEEEEEEEEEZZZ

Lololol. I went in there last weekend. I did the same with the Imr8208. Was fired up till I saw display only on the empty bottle. That’s quite the selection once they get it all back in stock
