A few months ago you mentioned you were releasing a new electronic caller. What’s the status of that?

Wade, the China virus finally affected a coyote caller. All of the software work is being done in Silicon Valley, CA and as you know, they shut the state done about 6 months ago. All my guys are having to work from home which has slowed the release date. I have placed a PO for 3,000 units and hope to have them in here in a month or so. Just done to final tweeking of software.
I have been using prototypes for about a year and am completely sold on how animals respond to the ACTUAL animal recording. The ROGUE produces full spectrum sound that fools the wariest critters around.
Adios,
Gary

What is the price point going to be?

What’s the price point? I might actually buy an e-caller now

It's been a long road! When you completely reinvent the world of electronic calling you have to invent new processes and equipment to make it happen. Hang in there!

Yes, we have re-recorded a lot of pig, sow, boar and distress sounds with the ultrasonic equipment. While hogs hear best in the sound range that humans do, hogs can hear at a much higher frequency than humans. I recorded a squealling pig that produced frequencies well over 40 kHz. While it will be a great recording for sows and pigs, it is also going to be a killer for coyotes.
I call the sound, Hyper Pig.
Adios,
Gary

We are trying to edit and get the sounds loaded while working with the software guys in Silicon Valley that are having to work from home. They are not on the market but I will let you know when they are available.
Thanks for you patience!
Adios,
Gary

I'd think about giving up my Fox if the price was in the ballpark and one was available to me early this year

I'm not sure it was ever estimated. I really enjoyed reading his book and look forward to his knowledge being applied to a caller.

Thanks for the kind words and I appreciate you buying EYES FRONT! The price on the ultasonic caller will be about $750. I have placed a PO for 3,000 units and have been playing with the latest prototype for about three weeks and it is performing flawlessly. This unit has a newly remodeled low end frequency speaker (plays sounds in the range that even old timers like me can hear) that is fantastic. I have NEVER heard such clarity on an e-caller before and is causing me to re-record and re-edit some of our ultrasonic sounds. Volume is excellent and range of remote is over 500 yards which means that it should work well in calling situations even without "line of sight".
If you are interested in being notified when the caller is available please go to burnhambrothers.com and give us your name and phone number. When we have callers available, we will give you a call and see if you are still interested.
Thanks and Adios,
Gary

Sure don't mean to pester, Gary - but do we have an update on possible release date for the ROGUE? Looking forward to it hitting the market. Thanks, & Good Huntin'

No pestering...latest prototype is great except that the remote gives me a battery read out on the remote and the base. It was showing BATTERY LOW on the remote when the batteries are nearly full charge. I told my software guys about it and they say that should be an easy fix so let's hope so. Love the range of remote and clarity of sounds, at least on the low end frequencies that my old ears can hear.
Adios,
Gary

I’ve been pestering you for years and I, like a previous poster, hope that I’m in the top 3,000 on your list Gary.
