Anybody had any better ideas for the rear winch mount on the 2020 can am defenders besides the $600 factory bed mount?

Are you looking for one that mounts in the bed or under the bed at the rear hitch?

In the bed or above the bed. To load up deer/pigs.

I saw a picture of a guy's mount that he made. He took some square tubing and welded some feet on either end of it, then mounted all of that at the top of the roll bar where the two block off plates mount the factory roof on it. He then mounted his winch up there. Wish i could find a pic of it, but it was slick.

This is a setup from Eagle MTX that I have. The winch is a 3000# mounted in the roof. Works really well.

I use this on the hitch mount on my Can Am. It swivels so I can load whatever I lift in the bed. I also use it on my truck to load big heavy loads like a 9000 watt generator.

I replaced the manual crank with one powered by a cordless drill. And replaced the cable with a synthetic cord to reduce weight.

This is similar to the one i have seen that a guy had built, but wasn't near as pricey as the Rage Fab. Two pieces of heavy angle on the ends for bolting to the roll bar, and a piece of heavy square tubing with the winch monted on it.
