I sat out last night for 5 hours waiting for the hogs to come to a baited spot that they've been hitting every night for the past week. They didn't show, and as I was packing up, this bruiser cruised in for a bit of corn. With a shot fired in anger from my 300 HAM'R, he went down hard, for the count!

Had not used the HAM'R on a coon-sized animal before; I think I may have been over-gunned a bit. If he had sent the pigs in instead, he would still be out and around! Bad call on his part.

That definitely left a mark.

People have no idea how many of them dang things are out there, until you start trapping and shooting them.

Good work
Think of how many gallons of corn and
game birds you've saved

Shot a couple last month while calling with my .17 Rem. Like Goldilocks porridge, it seemed " just right"... laugh
