Hey guys im new to duck hunting although ive been hunting other things all my life. Basically any tips or advice would be appreciated since its me, myself, and I. I have a kayak and a bass boat, just not a duck boat (not camo or shallow drive). Im not looking for anyones spots, JUST tips. What is the preferred habitat? etc

Get out there and start looking, that’s how you find teal (ducks in general). I’ve looked and found some of the best looking duck water and they never used it.
There is nothing that substitutes for scouting, that’s the key.
In general, teal like shallow mud bottom places...typically if you’re much over shin deep, you’re not in the right spot. Good luck!
