Basically any tips or advice would be appreciated since its me, myself, and I. I have a kayak and a bass boat, just not a duck boat (not camo or shallow drive). Im not looking for anyones spots, JUST tips. What is the preferred habitat? etc

I’ve looked and found some of the best looking duck water and they never used it. There is nothing that substitutes for scouting, that’s the key. In general, teal like shallow mud bottom places...typically if you’re much over shin deep, you’re not in the right spot. Good luck!
