Already got the decoys out. Now for a nap if I can keep this wet dog off me. No scouting was involved. Hunting blind so I don't expect much. And it's Hopedale's fault. Who else is out this morning?

Bailed on a solo walkin hunt to hunt the RR with some buddies. Glad I did, hunting out of a nice boat is like riding in a Cadillac.

Not where I was and no shots from others on the same arm of lake. The dog had fun chasing fish, I got some needed exercise, and I was able to scout around some old haunts for big duck season. Only Teal I saw was on someone's tailgate on the other side of the lake when I drove past a hunter parking area.

Just East of Eagle Lake area....best opening day in awhile. 12 person limit. Here's 36 from the north pond folks. My dog is Bonnie on the right. Nice sunrise too.
