Covid has me back on the road for the rest of the year. I’m working out on Cushing, OK and it looks like I’ll be here through archery season. Any recommendations on public land close by. I’ve found some l, but don’t know anything about. Was hoping someone could at least point me on the right direction.

honubby (i think i spelt that right) around antlers and cloudy is a good place to go about 5000 acrs if i remember

Hanobia Creek WMA is going to be over 3 hours drive away from Cushing. I recommend looking into the OLAP Oklahoma Land Access Program. One of the walk in areas is very close to Cushing. With Cushing being half way between OK City and Tulsa, expect hunting pressure.
