I'm ignorant of most wimmin's ways. And apostrophes. But it's ok since I'm not a part of the "grammer"/spelling police. I amost came back and edited that, but left it as a test. You passed.

wait minite, did Sneaky post that he stays "sharp"? Like cheddar sharp? I’m not sure what that means, but it’s probably pretty accurate.

You know, I believe a fella could spend all fuggin' day on this forum correcting the grammar and spelling of others. So, if you're gonna correct one guy, you should be correcting everybody.
The other side of that is if you're NOT going to spend all day reading through every BEEEP! thread lookin' for grammar/spelling mistakes, keep ya' damn opinions of the language skills of others to ya'self. This is a huntin' forum, not English 101 an' you ain't Agatha Christie. My drive by posting errors are second only to colt.45. His are intentional and mine are just lazy. I do get the correcting, same as in with building a tight fence, take pride, do it right. I’m glad you explained that, because your writing mistakes do not match up with your level of intelligence, at all. Colt.45, on the other hand, seems to be exactly on par with his writing.

We all make mistakes, spelling and otherwise. But I do know how to spell the 32nd state of the union, some don't.

Colt.45 is smart enough to know how to bypass spell check, use all the tabs on the reply bar to express his act in every post all while doing it from his cell phone. He does not do it on other forums just here and does not do it all the time here. The more attention and responses he gets to his posts the more he intensifies his routines in every reply after that.

The title's a joke, right? And...I'll post any dam thing I want. You're new to Texas, so I'll give you a little advice - Texans don't tell other folks what they ought to be doing. Unless you were in a high school English class like I was in. My high school English teacher towed the line on grammar and speaking correctly. I hated it while I was in her class but guess what? I went to college and ended up with a major in English and taught high school English for 5 years. So the result is I have the curse that while I read anything I am checking the grammar! Not saying it is right - just saying it is what it is!

Funny in the corporate world never been an issue Also college I will add. Only freshman English did I get dinged for spelling errors, the rest of my classes through my masters, it was content they looked for in essays.

I’m quite thankful for that.

I love the spelling and grammar guys; they keep you sharp. They are usually being light-hearted when they post a correction, at least that is the way that I take it. Give them a while and even they will stumble, then you jump on them and give them all kinds of grief. I can’t speak for everyone, but that’s dead on, for me. I’m glad you understand it. I also appreciate when anyone points out my errors, though I may poke back at them. Keeps me sharp. Exactly. I hate making grammatical errors or misspelling a word. Same here. I proof everything I post to make sure I didn't fat finger anything or have a brain fart. Even with that something slips through sometimes and I end up editing the post because I just can't let it ride.

If you think it is bad here, wait until a defense lawyer reams you a new one, and makes you look illiterate, over a report you wrote, in front of a jury in federal court. There are times when it's important to know whether it is ant or aunt, they're, their, or there, etc. An example: "Joking apart, the following is a very strong example on how punctuation can change the entire meaning of a sentence/text. Dear John: I want a man who knows what love is all about. You are generous, kind, thoughtful. People who are not like you admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me for other men. I yearn for you. I have no feelings whatsoever when we’re apart. I can be forever happy–will you let me be yours? Jane Now reread the letter which is punctuated in a completely different way. Dear John, I want a man who knows what love is. All about you are generous, kind, thoughtful people, who are not like you. Admit to being useless and inferior. You have ruined me. For other men, I yearn. For you, I have no feelings whatsoever. When we’re apart, I can be forever happy. Will you let me be? Yours, Jane" http://transpremium.com/interesting-examples-and-funny-jokes-on-punctuation/

Some people have let texting garbage override their ability to write coherently. A grammar Nazi reminds us that we need to think before hitting reply.
