I wanted to make a knife for my son for his graduation from firefighters school. This knife is made from a file. I asked him how he wanted the handle. He picked stacked leather and deer antler. I learned that antler will stain if you slop a little leather dye on it. So, I put dye on it also. It turned out kinda cool I think. Lots of imperfections on this knife due to me still learning about it all but I'm proud of it. I also cast the guard and pommel from aluminum. I also made the sheath myself. Going to give it to him tonight.
