Temp was 61 here this morning and barely made it into the 70's with north wind and cloud cover all day. It was not raining anymore so I decided to go sit in the blind to see if the deer moved early before dark in the cooler temps. They did move well saw 9 or 10 bucks and 9 or 10 does. I saw one buck that I had not gotten any trail cam pics of but had seen him 3 other times back in July and early August. Low clouds and a bit darker than I would have liked but it still made for some good photos.

Holy heck, I think anyone would be grateful for the opportunity to take any of those bucks. That one with the split tines like a mulie is awesome!

Great pictures.

Nice bucks but the green grass excites me more than they do. Wish it was that green in my pastures. cowboy

Great pictures stxr!

I love the tall tined main frame 9, maybe he is a 10 if he has a small g4 on his right. He has a crooked left brow.
Is he 4 or 5??

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

I had 4"+ in May, 4"+ in June, 4"+ in July....last rain in July was the 29th...it did not rain again till Aug 27th when I had .20"...with the string of 100+ days in August and Sept I had cracks in the ground...in last week I had about .15" scattered over 8 days but some cloud cover...then on the 9th I had .90" to 1.01" in the gauges...no cattle on that taller grass is why it is green, if I had some pics of the shorter grass areas you would not see any grass..just dirt.

Not real sure on his age since I had him at 3 some days last year and 4 other times I would see him. He was an 8 pt last year and a 5x5 with one kicker this year. Still on the fence this year but I am thinking more 5 after seeing him yesterday. Never seen him in a feed pen on TC or when hunting.. just feeding around them.
Last year as an 8pt:

Yes I plowed up all my plots back in early July...waiting on rains which I got night before last so I can either redisc or spray the new growth. I will then drill in some oats and mabe some clover in early October.
