I've been looking into various 20 moa cant unimounts for a 30mm scope. Even considering a QD mount (IF they can repeatably return to zero).

I've looked at the following:

Bobro Engineering 30mm Dual Lever Scope Optic 20MOA Cant QD Mount (B10-300-300-20)

AAD Mount - The Ultimate 20 MOA Precision AR Scope Mount

Badger Ordnance 30 MM 1 PIECE UNIMOUNT - 20MOA EXTRA HIGH (1.3")

Nightforce

Curious about your thoughts and suggestions about the list above. Or other suggestions?

Thanks

George, If permanence is something you want, AADMount, Badger, and Nightforce are among the most popular and the best solutions available, outside of Spurh.

But if you are looking for a QD mount, Bobro is the only solution.

From engineers perspective, I would say the the most sound decision, based on density would be Aadmount.

Might be the first time in the history of ever someone has disagreed with something SM says about scopes or mounting. But I disagree, while the Bobro is a legit QD mount that does a great job there are plenty more options.

Burris Pepr (china made) but will repeat zero, I have one and while I keep saying I'll replace it I haven't spend the money.
ZRODelta in my experience is the best there is but you pay a PREMIUM for them. The reason I say best there is...solid lock up, build just short of a sherman tank but light and an easy enough QD mechanism you can do it in the dark.
American Defense has a great QD mount
Larue CAN QD is built solid and is repeatable.

Anything on your list will also work. Lots of good options but for the money I think the Larue is dang hard to beat, Texas company, fast shipping and will likely be what I continue to purchase going forward.

I don't know about qd but I use a Badger unimount for my swfa 5-20. I have swapped these back and forth on multiple rifles. It pretty much holds but I use a torque wrench, mark the rail slot that it goes on and do an install procedure that pushes the mount forward during torquing the nuts.

I have larue mounts for ars, currently mounted to a 2.5-10 trijicon, and it works well. Both rifles are only 223 ar's.

Love my badger unimount. Prefer it over my ADM and over the bobro. The badger mounts are also pretty light.

Judd, you give me too much credit. I'm not perfect. I respect that you disagree.

While AD and LT are good mounts, I personally am not a fan of verticle split rings. My issue with them, is that they are difficult to the scope plumb as you torque the screws without assistance.
They are indeed good, but I suggest having someone aid you when putting it together.

Naw...you're the wizard dude, you've earned that wink

I do agree you have to either have someone hold the scope or I typically have pretty good luck moving the torque wrench around until tight rather than tightening one screw at a time.

American Rifle company M10 mount is hard to beat, I have two sets of their rings and they are phenomenal.

I do not have the one pice mount but I can tell you the have it in custom heights as well as cant angle up to 40 moa or so..
