Dang - where the heck was this frog floater that is drenching the rolling plains when we needed it about 6 weeks ago in the middle of the burn up? We were about this " " close to one heckuva rebound

Steady light rains over a lot of the Rolling Plaines today. This is good.

2.5" and counting at my place in southern Brown County. Much of the county got a good soaking last week, but we only received .10", so we really need the moisture - especially some run off to fill the tanks. This system is supposed to continue to dump moisture the rest of the day, overnight, and into early morning tomorrow. 4-5" possible!!!

5" in western Shackelford County for us yesterday. I heard some quail whistling during out dove hunts last weekend. My little Brit puppy heard her first bobwhite whistle and made a bee line to it!
