My son got picked for Colorado bend either sex hunt. Has anyone hunted there? What should we expect? Are the chances good for my son to see something?

That is suppose to be a great hunt. Id be very excited to go out there. Google search for "tpwd draw hunt statistics". It will take you to a page with excel spreadsheets for every year showing the stats at each hunt location. I think you will like what you find

got drawn like 15 years ago. we didn't kill anything (buddy missed, I held out for a buck) but we saw lots of deer.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

My son is a "meat" hunter like me. He'll shoot does, spikes, bucks or pigs. He's just happy to be wild and free in the woods with his dad. If every kiddo went hunting I think the world would be a much better place!!!! Does anyone disagree?
