Really hard to tell, but I think i see some mallards.

What area did you see them in? Seems early for big birds unless they're locals

No other pics? Hard to tell with that pic, did they make a whistle sound? I don't think mallards the way they are floating about, I would guess black belly whistling duck, or wigeon.....

What Aggieduck said...Wood ducks...big group...but they do congregate like that occasionally...I count 23....but on the right wide flat spot along a big creek, or "woodsy" end of a big tank or lake....it happens.

Definitely wood ducks. I hunt them on my lease south of Olney every season. Present in large numbers most of the year.
