Just messing with you guys! Who the heck would waste their time on Tofu, or even brag about cooking it??

These are some mouth-watering, and really tender, brisket sliders, Idaho French fries, some grilling beans, and plenty of cole slaw to appease the vegans among us out there. The wife likes hers to be all center cut meat, while I love burnt ends. Washed it all down with some good old Texas nectar - sweet tea!!

I don’t even know what tofu is, but it sounds bad. Those brisket plates are the real deal!

[Tofu - “it does not look so good (or taste very good) straight out of the package. In fact, it tastes like nothing—absolutely nothing. But this super bland initial taste is exactly what makes tofu so great; it doesn't have its own flavor so it easily absorbs any flavor of your choosing.”]

If I want it to taste like steak or chicken, why don’t I just eat a steak or chicken???

Wife ate up the rest of our yeast rolls for breakfast, so had to make do with corn tortillas for lunch. Mixed all the burnt ends and beans together, rolled them into the corn, and then pan fried into tacquitos. That will hold us until supper!
