I made a meat run to Granbury yesterday @ HEB and Kroger`s and stocked up the freezer for a while. All of the meat was choice. I have already vacuum packed the steaks and have the skirt steak marinating in the fridge for 2 days before I package them for the freezer. I really wanted to hit a brisket sale, but none on sale in my area. I’ve got an entire shelf in the freezer with great steaks, but we haven’t had good skirt steaks in the store for ages!!

Nice prices, I don't think I could fit a hamburger patty in any of my freezers there so packed.

Nice prices, I don't think I could fit a hamburger patty in any of my freezers there so packed. I was trying to let our freezer run out a little, but I have run across some good deals lately and it is almost back to where it was. It`s hard to turn down a good deal.

I did that this week as well. Course I live 2 miles away! I was going to get some T-Bones also, but all they had was end cuts known in the business as "Doorstops". Yours look good though.
