Guy's, my truck ( 2006 F 150 ) gets about 13 MPG on a good day. Would it be more fuel efficient to carry it in the bed of the truck or on a small 5 x 8 trailer?

Have a 4 X 6 trailer for ATV. 2009 F150 8cyl doesn't know the trailer is there(no difference in gas mileage). This set up works best for me because I carry a lot of gear.

I hate agreeing with BP but he gave me no choice You probably dont like agreeing with me either and ill third it. If fuel economy is your concern the bed is better.

Get good long ramps if it's very high to the tailgate. Seen lots of fools trying to use short ramps on about a 35+ degree angles and it never ends well. If you use a small trailer, you can usually pull it around lease with the ATV and extend your load capacity a good bit.

I drive a F-350 SRW and I carry a 4-wheeler in bed most of the time and Vern is right, ALLWAYS hook the ramp straps to the post of bed latch or you can get hurt.
