I say you need to be more purposeful in what the use case is and what magnification range you're looking for. 4-16x56 and 3-10x42 are two completely different things for a lot of different reasons.

Primarily will be used for hunting (deer, hogs, coyotes) but will also occasionally be shooting steel out to 600 yards. I guess I'm more interested in quality over magnification

Between those three...I'd buy the lightest one. Life's too short for long barreled hunting rifles or heavy [censored] scopes.

That is another great option...I was just looking at the credo 1-8x28 a few minutes ago but this would probably suit my needs better
