Anyone already packed? The three-day Labor Day weekend for many is the traditional start of the preseason for the main events. Looks like the wife and I will be headed to Waco to visit one of the kids. A trip to Cabela's is definitely on the schedule.

Headed to West TX. Gonna be over 4,000 feet, so I guess you can say in the mountains. Six hours down I 10 and then four hours to the ranch from there. Gonna play a lil' rodeo with Aoudads and Mountain Lions.
I know a fella with some property near between Beeville and Goliad. I would like to bring him back a present. Do you think he would prefer a cute goat or a kitty cat?

I made it a 5 day weekend to do a little dove hunting, install a new carport and fix the floor in one of my old deer blinds. My granddaughter wants to do a little fishing and camp by the pond.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

The wife and I are planing on shedding and spraying the food plots and filling the feeders. They named "Labor Day" weekend right.
