If the 2nd amendment was written just to include guns for hunting, why is there not an amendment to protect fishing poles?

A VW dune buggy. a friends daughter wrecked her VW, I bought the salvage. Built a frame and added the VW engine and trans, no lights, but it did have brakes, when they worked. Using back country roads I would drive it from Abilene to Rowena, only real town I would go through was Buffalo Gap.

A bench with a seat that hinges up for storage, out of old barn wood. The back is just one smallish slab of old hand-hewn cypress that I burned our brand into. Every time I sit on it, I'm amazed it still stands. I'm carpenterily challenged. grin

Firepit/BBQ from an old chunk of pipe.

Combination cooler and watering hole for the dogs.

Couldn't find one of those swinging cup holders big enough for a Coors Light pint bottle in a coozie, so I made one out of an old fire extinguisher.

Couple area lights that mount into the stake pockets, run off the 7 pin connector, and tuck up under the bed rails when not in use.

Nothing big, mostly just silly ideas and an occasional excess of spare time.

Quite a few things I built I’m proud of. But the latest one would be my duck blind.

Not sure if this is diy but my other favorite would be our two acre pond we built. This is out in front of the damn. We got close to 25-30 ft of water here.

Heating and air conditioning my house with the sun this entire year so far is literally cool right now...
How about a 5 level castle that's about 200 feet across?

I tend to do a lot of diy projects mainly to try to save money. Typically with whatever I’m building, the cost plus the amount of labor and tool throwing, I often wished I would have just bought it lol But the satisfaction when your done is worth it all.

Built this entry table for my wife a few years back.

Started building a high seat with my dad for my Canam. Having some issues with figuring out what to do with the seat and back rest pad, but the frame and mounts are done. My youngest helped me paint it.

I've built a lot of stuff in my life as that was the way that I was raised. Other than my knives I don't know if any of them would be considered cool.

I’ve built several things and usually have a couple projects going most of the time.

The three I’m most proud of are our fireplace, dining table, and a box I made for a great friend.
