Any good deals on shells in Dallas? I used to use 20% off Dick's coupons that stacked on top of sale prices, but they don't sell ammo any more. I'm not looking for off-brand ammo, just good prices on decent quality stuff.
Thanks

I’m pretty sure field and stream in prosper will honor dicks coupons. Last year they had a good sale on shells.

Academy is my go-to for lowest price on shotshells.

As an example, AA Winchester is $8.29/box at Academy and is on sale for only $8.99 at BPS and Cabelas….!

Buy after season, that’s when the sales happen. Bought a flat of 20 ga. Winchester Super X last week for $6.49 a box. Back in Jan-Feb it was $3.99 a box.

Thanks for the replies. I like the prices at Roger's, but need it quicker. I'll probably end up going to Academy.

Anyone use Kent Dove Loads before? For .20 gauge, they offer 7/8 oz and #7.5, which is a little light. For .12 gauge, they have 1 oz, #7.5 shot. I can get both of these for $4.80/box.

I bought a case of Remington Heavy Dove loads at Academy yesterday for $59.99. Pretty sure they went up to $69.99,
Because that’s what they rung up at, but the sign said $59.99 so that’s what they sold them to me for. They also had Monarchs for less; $5.49 a box I think. I’ve shot a couple of cases of them; my guns like them just fine.

I’ve used 7/8 ozw 12 gauge Federal shells before. I was really surprised how well they shot. One of the guys that I have does with sheets 28 gauge and that’s all he shoots his 7/8 ozw. He’s deadly with that gun & load.

Those heavy dove loads for $5.99 are a pretty good deal and a good shell.

Well I had 10 cases of 12 GA Winchester AA, 1 1/8 oz 7 1/2's and 8 1/2's listed...but sold them all at $70 per case !!! I only shoot .410 and 28 GA for doves...15 comes too fast with 20 ga or bigger...and I also am a lot pickier with the shots I take, with .410 and 28......

The Academy here in McKinney had the Rem heavy dove for 6.99 a box. They are 1&1/8 oz. Few years back I used some Rios and they did great so I bought another box. They are 1&1/4 oz and high brass. Not sure if the high brass means squat, but I’ll take the extra 43 pellets.

This place has some good pricing occasionally. Right now dove prices are average at best since as it's only 3 days away, but the Peters Blue at 8.99 is not bad for ducks. I check them every once and awhile and bought a Higdon pulsator at good price.

Yes they are, that's what we have been using for a long time.

I ended up buying Kent for $4.58 per box. Picked up 3 flats of 20 and 12 gauge at Field and Stream in Prosper.

I'm still shooting $29.99/case heavy field loads that I bought years ago.

We all need to practice Whoa more.

In DFW, Walmart and Academy are still hard to beat for ammo.
