Hunting opening weekend in SD and seeing if anyone has any decent places t stay in Pierre..
Dont mine off brands just dont want really bad one, will have dogs with me also

ft. Pierre motel is very hunter and dog friendly. It is not first tier but convenient to the grasslands.

Check out the fish camps and lodges just north of Pierre around lake Oahe. OK rooms and decent food.

ft. Pierre motel is very hunter and dog friendly. It is not first tier but convenient to the grasslands. Yes, on Ft. Pierre. U can stake out dogs, use the freezer. Lots of hunters from all over. Make res early it is usually full opening week. Many of the other motels have only paved lots, no grass--avoid Motel 6. NOT hunter/dog friendly.
