I hunt about 50 acres of sunflowers in eastern burnet county
The edges have been shredded
Normally hunting is excellent
Scouted yesterday around 6 pm and doves were few and far betwee

In driving rural roads I am seeing almost no dove on power lines near sunflower patches

Looking bleak right now

If it isn't white it is not a birddog.

Lying is lying. Don't bitch about one doing it and condone another. That's called hypocrisy.

I have seen plenty west of Abilene, not so much on a place east of town.

We were shredding on Thursday. Had lots of birds up until 11:00, alot coming to water around 9:30- 10:00. Had our normal run of collards at 8:00 on the cattle feed.Looks like it might be a decent opener.
