Water off a duck's back amigo. He & I are different people, none of that matters.

What does matter is how them babies are doing?

I hope you and your family are doing well.

I hope Sniper.270 and his family are doing well too.

Because this storm is just getting organized so there is a lot of uncertainty. When they get 3 days out the predictions will be pretty good, the shape it's in after it interacts with the Yucatan, will play a big role.

Close enough to be a hurricane to me. Like someone said on here before, I have a hard time believing this storm can pass right over the warm gulf and not grow like a giant.

Yeah I get that, still don't know how it's going to act when it crosses the Yucatan.

Weather channel indicates at this point both might make land fall at the same time.

Wonder what dynamics it would cause having both churning in the gulf at the same time? Would it possibly make both of them weaker because they are both feeding of the same warm waters or will they be so far apart it will not be a factor?
Since both turn counter clockwise what will that do to each others winds? If they are close enough, will one or both benefit in wind strength from some sort of phenomena caused by the two acting as quasi centrifugal force that serves as a propeller for one or both? What if they are drawn into each other and become one monster storm confused2

Latest models have both of moving more west now for landfall tracks but both are still to far to have any idea. They do have TD become a hurricane when it is in the gulf again and then weakening before landfall. I hope they are correct on the weakening part.

There's lot of energy in the gulf. Glad they changed landfall from 1 am Tuesday to 2 pm

Just curious how does that help unless it will be daylight and easier to or give more time to evacuate if necessary?

10-4 on that. My Fishing Guide BIL and wife (Surfside Tx.) already called the Wife and said they might be coming up to Kingsland with their 5 cats. Sokay got a big nice Barn to house the cats. They are right off the beach and house is 10 foot up but after the last big one years ago the water was lapping at the bottom of house. Don't blame them for running. Gonna wait till Monday to check and see. He won't leave unless it looks like a big un.

Most of my saltwater fishing has been at SLP near Surfside. Thanks for the update.
