We have a couple nice bucks this year but all the better ones still look fairly young to me.
We named this one Triple Brow for obvious reasons. He has a double stacked brow tine and then about a 2.5" kicker off his main brow at the base coming out forward.

This 8 shows some potential with a pretty nice frame already

Nice 9 but he does not come around much

Good tall brow tine buck. He is basically an 8 with a small G4 that may be an inch long.

Then there is this big old 10 that needs to go. We actually should have taken him off a couple years back when he was a short tined 8 point.
The 2nd pic below is him last year when he was already a brute.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Thanks for posting. Keep em coming. Nice brows on the 9 and the 8. Most everybody likes the triple brow kind of character and im not saying i dont but "what if" he took those inches and added them to the typical frame is what i always think and wish.

Thanks fellas

Oh yeah freerangeā€¦.I'd much rather have those inches added to an 9 point frame!!!
By the way, he has a very small kicker on his G2 on the opposite side. It may make an 1" when he is rubbed out.

I've been going through pics from last year and I really am having a hard time seeing which deer he is.
If I'm right, I think he was a beautiful basket horned 2.5 year old last year that basically looked exactly like the bid deer I killed last year when he was 2.5.
So, if he is that deer and is only 3, he is getting some extras at an early age! My buck last year was a slick 8 each year until he hit 5.5 last year and he added a good G4 and two really good kickers off his G2s.

The problem is the 225 or so acres of thick brush that borders me on my East & South fences is now being split into 11 - 24 acre tracks....and 4 area already sold including the one that borders my South Fence. I think his chances of getting another year older are probably pretty damn slim and about as rare as hen's teeth to even get to 5.5!
