Just acquired a Remington 1100 LT-20 and need some shell suggestions for dove (brand, shot, dram, etc..)

I had one of these years ago and shot estate cartridge with no issues. Curious if any of the wal mart stuff might cycle properly..? Just need some suggestions of what will cycle reliable before I buy a few boxes to try. I know these can be picky when it comes to cycling correctly.
Thanks

If you have both barrels, buy whatever the hell you want! If not, winchester shells have always worked well.

Rem. 1100 is gas operated if it won't cycle shells you are missing an "O" ring buy any thing that looks good.

I recommend Winchester AA Heavy Target Load (1 oz. of 8's at 1165 fps.).

These have high antimony shot that deform less than the promo loads so they result in superior patterns.

The Remington LT-20 will eat them (and the dove) up...!

My remington 1100 LT always liked the sure shot loads the best and federal the least, didn't matter dram or shot. Like RayB said, if you issues with shells ejecting then buy a new o-ring. I buy them in bulk and change it out once a year.

I use these as well with my automatic gun - Winchester AA Heavy Target Load (1 oz. of 8's at 1165 fps.).

If your not reloading, the winnies in AA's in heavy target load are great shells, burn clean, quality product, save your hulls, they are worth some $$$
and reloadable. 7 1/2's or 8's are good. Great shot for around a stock pond for evening hunts!

Great choice on gun, last you a lifetime....

hunt safe....
