They are showing 40 % chance of rain

It seems to always rain right about then most years.

Its 2 weeks away. But ya we always seem to get rain around the 1st or labor day weekend

This is my annual "Got to get away"! I'll hunt in the rain and Love every minute of it...

Sept 1 is opening of archery season up here for elk and deer, also dove.
We always welcome a nice cool front for the openers but it always sends the dove packing.
Had a nice little spot picked put one year with lots of dove, cool front hit the day before, no dove to be seen.

I will happily send them all down this year for some precipitation and cooler weather on Sept. 1.

If it rains, I just drink more whisky.

in particular) go to get away from mama
and the kids, and to get ripped

My dad would make a bet with anyone for anything, that it would rain at some point during labor day weekend. He won that bet a lot more than he lost.

Yes, it always rains that week or there about. I forced my brother and son to go hunting 9/1 last year, on the way home through cleburne it was a deluge

Hurricane coming...must be dove season!
