Found a NOS Ruger Alaskan .338 Win Mag last week. My understanding is there were only around 600 built originally in 2016. I love the 338. If you handload, look into getting the 250 gr Rocky Mountain (now sold by Parker Productions) or the 285 ELD-M

You're gonna need a .375 H&H after this. 'Great old round. Interesting you should say that. Little brother just bought a Sako .375 H&H. I plan to put a few rounds through it next weekend.

I love big rifles, good find. If hand loading I use the Nosler 225 gr Accubond bullets.
If it thumps you consider having a break installed it will help.
