Only to toast my English muffins for Eggs Benedict, if I'm doing a lot of them for breakfast for family. Gas grill is right outside the door on the patio, and way less clean-up!

I only use it really to melt/toast items.

It's too hot to use ours right now but we use it to broil crappie, asparagus and onions for supper when it cools off.

I have to clean my own kitchen. Figure it out.

I did pan broil a tenderloin steak on the top burner once when I ran out of gas.

I use it to make garlic toast and for browning stuff. I’m gonna try pork chops in it next time, even though cast iron does a great pork chop.

I'll use it to finish of nachos but that's about it. In the restaurant business they use what is called a salamander - which is an open flame broiler - for searing. For anything that doesn't need a top finish, will just use my cast iron skillet.

Saw an ad on a great new grease remover. Don't remember the brand name. My memory is not what it once was.

Sometimes I can't remember what I just posted.

Ha, my wife has so much stuff stored in the oven now that she has an air fryer. Only thing I need the oven/broiler is for heating up my taco shells.

only occassionally use the broiler in our ovens ... When making instant pot pork ribs, the last step is to lay out on a cookie sheet, spread favorite BBQ sauce and place in the broiler for 4-6 minutes until the BBQ sauce starts to char a little bit, give it a fake smoky flavor. My wife likes my instant pot ribs because they are so tender, fall off the bone tender ... I prefer a bit of a tug but you know keeping momma happy makes everybody happy saying.

we have a small toaster oven/broiler that we use to make toast, cinnamon toast, garlic toast when it's just the two of us, but use the broil in the oven when more people are here for a meal.
