The 'rules' are clear, but this rack is confusing.

Depends on if you hunt in an AR county.

And it might be wise to wait until the season starts unless this is from East Texas.

It really depends on what you call the mainbeam.

Cool buck - and a good question since you mentioned the rules are "clear" lol. I don't see minimum spread regardless how you measure. He might make it before season. If you know your Game Warden just ask him how he would measure a deer like for AR.

It could be depending on which beam you use. Be interesting to see how he finishes.

Regardless, he needs a couple more years... Exactly!
Thursday at 12:45 PM #33 Once i learned that i didn't "NEED" to kill something, and that if i did kill something all the fun stopped and work began, i was a much better hunter.

If I remember right it is a 13" inside spread and the general rule of thumb is the antlers outside the ears and it is probably legal. If that is an AR county looks like a no go to me. If not an AR county then there are no restrictions on Antler size or deer age to the best of my knowledge. Regardless, he needs a couple more years... Exactly! I'm with them ↑↑↑↑ ...might be really interesting in a few years
