Used to make these all the time and they are easy and wonderful. In Hawaii, we would season with Asian spices and serve with sticky rice and soy sauce. In Texas, I learned to season as asada with HEB Fiesta seasoning, and add jalapeños. Pretty easy and quick on the grill.. Julienne the vegetables, marinate the meat with spices and lime juice, Add at least one or two slices of jalapeño with the carrots, squash, different bell peppers and you're in business. Only takes a few minutes to prepare, and a few more on the grill. WOW!!!

Cheap bottom round sirloin roast. Really affordable. We just cut smaller for regular carne asada and it’s not tough or grisly at all. For this, you cut pieces with knife anyway. Leftovers are finger food.

That looks freaking awesome. I want to try the Hawaiian version though honestly.

Got in trouble with the wife, she said I never made this before or she'd remember it. I said I had, and she said maybe for your other girlfriend. Like a dumb [censored], I said "No, she doesn't like peppers!" That's when the fight started......
