Good shot on him, looks like a high shoulder shot which anchors them very well.
Watched your next video that came after than one on youtube, waiting on the boar with those little ones there I probably would have taken the 3 lined up shot that was presented before the boar came in, but that may be just me. Hard cast load in a 44 will get 2 or 3 when lined up that way especially if trying to curb hog numbers.,
What load are you using in the 44 Just curious. I also have a PC 629 hunter that is a very sweet revolver.
lf the saying "Liar, Liar your pants on fire" were true Mainstream news might be fun to watch

Yep, I've killed several deer with a 44 mag rifle running my handloads. It definitely works!
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

Every deer I’ve shot with my 12” Encore in .44 mag has given up on the spot, no tracking required. Shooting either Cor Bon 240 grain HP or Double Tap 240 grain soft point.

I love my Ruger Super Blackhawk with the Trijicon RMR shooting the Hornady 240 grain XTP ammo. I have two Ruger Model 77/44 that we carry lion and bear hunting. One is equipped with the Trijicon Huron 1-4x24 riflescope and the other has just the factory iron sights. The 44 Mag is a bad dude in a handgun but a different animal in the rifle. Adios, Gary
