I’m gonna try salt and pepper on my next bowl of watermelon. Y’all should try feta cheese on it. They go together well.

Mix equal parts of Watermelon and another fruit ;like mangos or strawberries and run them through a blender and then freeze. They are especially great on these 100 plus days.

Still love a good watermelon, but most don't have the flavor that they used to. My grandparents, who lived 50 yards from us on the farm, used to grow a variety of watermelons and other fruits/vegetables in his garden. When they started getting ripe, we would go over to their house every night after dinner and enjoy the summer evening eating a watermelon on their front porch. My favorites were always the yellow meat or the Charleston Grays.
