Actually looks like never used and dumped there. I took another look and can’t tell if it is in use or not but if it is who ever installed it didn’t even take the bottom of the shipping crate off. They just took the cardboard off and set it down.

I'm just guessing that if you'll let it get in that shape that you don't hose out the coils once in a while? I've never seen a worse installation than that. It looks like a cover to the electronics of one of the units is leaning up against the other one. You're just begging for a break down and service call. Yeah, and like Lakhota said, it looks like they just wheeled it up there, hooked it up and bailed. Were they scared of snakes?

Someone’s gonna get hurt and it won’t be because I didn’t properly raise hell about it. Tomorrow, I’m going to round them all up and show them videos what 240 can do to a grown human, then let them think about a poor kid that it could happen to.
