My wife traded in my old truck and got a 2 door Jeep Wrangler as she wanted another Jeep and I didn't care one way or the other. It was a new 2017, well that was until today. Now it is a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Eco Diesel 4 door, at least it has enough power to pull my boat to the lake. It rides way better than the 2 door did.

My Ford F150 FX4 rides nice.

GMC's have always been my preference. I've owned 3 of them over the last 15 years.

Ram 1500 with the air ride. I have coils in mine and it’s easily best riding pickup I’ve been in. The coils do not handle a load as well as leaf springs but they are smooth.

When I was a kid we hunted a ranch and the owner had a old buck board he would hitch up to his horse and take us for rides down the gravel county road that ran in front of the ranch.

That was almost as rough a ride as my F-250 short bed with 35’s.

37’s and 40 psi helped but it’s still stiff in the rear

Very true, which is a shame because I really like the Chevy pickup truck. Loved my 2015 Z71 but it just did not hold up to driving gravel roads, ranch roads etc. put 3 sets of upper control arms in before I traded it off with 80k miles. My 2011 FX4 you could drive thru a field that had been carpet bombed and it would have been fine.

I've owned Silverado's, Sierra's, Tundra, and a new Ram 1500 since 2010. The 2020 Dodge Ram is the smoothest, quietest pickup I've ever ridden in, period.

I'm going it the opposite direction with my next vehicle. I'm thinking a KIA with a 100,000 warranty. Should last me until I expire.

MY 2014 2500HD rides like a freakin buckin bronco. Very rough.

The Avalanche was the smoothest riding 1/2 ton vehicle, mostly useless as a truck. Read somewhere that they were bringing it back but still not in production. Probably just as well.

Friend of mine has a 2017..sounds like an 80 year old sneaking to the bathroom at 2:00 a.m. plus he has already had the engine replaced under warranty.

I have 6100 Bilsteins on the front and mine rides fairly smooth considering the BFGs with 50 psi. If i put some p rated street tires with 32 psi the ride would be a whole lot smoother.

True. I guess i didn't think about tires.
