As you can imagine there’s nothing open in Gainesville at 4:30 in the morning that sells heating protection. Gotta wait on Walmart.
Edit: QT came through.

You didn't have some type of hearing protection?

Perfect day for the shoot and great to meet some new people and catch up with friends. Thanks Senior for running another great match. I sucked, no other words can describe it. Even with Senior spotting for me, I managed to shoot a really nice and tight group...just to the right of my target. I did kid him about being bad luck and sure he was thinking I was deaf and not listening to his calls. Was really cool to see two young ladies (13 or 14) just wear out the targets, they were awesome!
I was wrong...on anything technical. Fitz............. is right, ya know............

Forgot to mention, Kyle beat me in the first round. He looked taller today...think he was wearing heightners (reference Seinfeld).

We also had a great time. Thank you again Senior for hosting a great shoot! I also sucked but did manage to win the cold bore shoot first thing. It was all luck. I thought the day was looking up but was all downhill from there.

Ya'll, that was awesome!! We had a great time. As we were leaving, my daughter asked, "When's the next one!" She had a great time also. She managed to beat me today. Good times.
Thank you Senior, for putting the match on. I didn't get to say goodbye, as you were painting targets when we left. Thanks, again!

I sucked it up today think a combination of new scope, a little different ammo, and cleaning my gun the night before did me in today. Good to see everyone and [censored] between rounds. Always a fun time. Looks like Tony got first, Cowie got second, and Chris got third. Good job Chris.

Well, believe it or not I made this shoot !!! First round, I went to the loser bracket. As usual Second round I shot a 7 which for me is excellent, But alas, a sweet young lady which I was shooting against, shot and 8 !!! I don't mind getting beat by a young lady at all, I'm talking young.....like 13 !!!!!! It was a great, SAFE match, all the shooters were pro's handling their Rifles. Senior , you are a great spotter !!!!! even though I drew you in my firs round, You were kind and only took 4 of your 5 shots to send me to the L.B But really you and your wife who graciously kept the scores, put on a great match, and I'm already ready for another. (I got plenty of ammo left) Chris (P102) deserves comeback shooter of the year, really shooting great centerfire AND .22LR Korean Redneck drove all the way from Houston, great too see him and many other THF'ers and S&S guys (great shooters !) I don't think I got DAL. But I ain't givin her up

Fitz is right, perfect day for a shoot! Thanks, Senior, for putting this on and even more for being a great spotter! Good to see Fitz and Buzz again and to meet a few others. I’m with wp, forgot the muffs and plugs just don’t cut it with most guns sporting brakes.....spent a lot of time with my fingers in my ears.

Senior, thanks for having us. Love the place and had a great time.
The weather was great, at least coming from Houston, and the company was equally awesome. This day was a great learning opportunity for me and look forward to doing it again. Thanks to all.

Thank you for all the compliments. It was only doable with the help of my wife ,Tony , David and others. It was a very safe shoot and that was due to all the shooters. Thank you guys. It was a fun day even though I sucked shooting. Most of all I enjoyed screwing Tim. L M A O . wp75169 stayed after the match and I think we have his gun rocking and rolling now . I sent Kyle a picture of the bracket, he will have to publish it on here as I am not smart enough .

I forgot one thing I wanted to give a shout out to Travis Frazier with Field & cave outfitters he donated some more AR steel to the range. We have been shooting his AR steel for years and it is awesome and he has a very excellent price on it if anybody is interested.

My allergies were so bad woke up this morning with one of my eyes swelled shut.
