Got the hankering and remembered that there was a Sonic near. I pulled up to one of those speakers on a post and this beautiful Car Hop appeared. She asked coffee, tea, or me. Don't remember ever stuttering but stuttered out something like you pick. She came back out with a great looking shake. That's a milk shake. I know what you were thinking. I never thought to ask the price. I just gave her a five and told her to keep the change. Not because of the shake but because of the free napkins. Dairy Queen or Sonic for you?

Did I mention that Muffin is looking a little droopy and may have to go bacteria to the vet tomorrow? Did I mention that this was playing on my radio as I pulled out of the Pecan Grove shopping center.

I wish these ice cream trucks still came around. I patronized them heavily as a child. Great soft serve ice cream.

If you want high quality ice cream at a great price try Aldi's Premium. Only comes in chocolate and vanilla. Made with cream, milk and sugar. Period.

To me - DQ has better ice cream than Sonic but Sonic has a better burger and drink menu.

Try making your own ice cream in a quart jar. I tried it using leftover strawberries, sugar and half n half. Allow a little room for expansion and make it a little sweeter that you want the ice cream to be. It came out real good.

Give Muffin a tummy rub for me.
