I admit I have a passion for a quality knife, so thought I would ask the experts here, since I have purchased quite of few knives from you folks. As the title says am interested in another EDC and my hunting buddy showed me his this weekend. Blade hardness is 59-61 RC and cost is right at $100. Is this a worthy knife? Or any opinions appreciated. Thanks!

Looks fine to me...people have a love hate relationship w d2 steel, personally I dont like it as a maker because it doesnt polish up and it eats up belts grinding it. I've always heard it takes a [censored] edge and holds it forever!haha but there are people who love it too! Bob Dozier makes some great knives with it

Personally, I just don't buy knives, steel or for that matter buy anything made in China.. unless it just sneaks by me.

Civivi is a good budget line of WE but yeah, China.

Kershaw has some good stuff for under $100 and made in the US.
