Ben and I got together Wednesday night. He was testing a new 30 Remington AR. I am still using a Lone Star Armory 6.5 Grendel that is doing really well.

I can't recall when we have had a better time. Things started slow, but after the first hog, things never slowed.

Started on a new property next to one I already hunt. The cattle posed some challenges to us, but we worked around them an took 10 off the new place in 3 quick hunts.

I think we would have gotten more hogs, but Ben said something about needing to remain employed and the need to show up at work in the morning, so we stopped just before 4:00 am.

Great shooting for both you guys. Ben needs to understand that "work" is the curse of the hog huntin' man and that hbe needs to get himself a bit better set up thee at the work place! :-)

When you consider how many offspring the 20 hogs you took out would have produced in their normal lifetime....it was a REALLY good night.
