What is the best way to establish private party value on a side by side? Thinking about buying a new model but really don't know what mine is worth. Dealer's never offer much for trade on these things.

2015 Polaris Ranger Crew 900 eps
Pro Box Top w/ 6 speakers and big light bar in front, small one in back
Viper winch
Glass lock n ride front windshield
Glass lock n ride rear windshield
Plastic lock n ride half windshield for the front
659 hours
3993 miles

I don't ride it hard, don't mud, never been trail riding, ect… It's used at my house to check cows and take the family fishing. At the lease it gets me to and from the stand. Current tires are good but it would hurt to put some new ones on it. One small tear in the driver's seat and that is all it needs.

Best way I have found for private party value is just scour all over craigslist and facebook market place to see what others that are similar are going for. NADA may get you close, but I prefer looking at the market over that.

NADA has a section for used UTV pricing ... didn't find area for private party sales, just suggested list retail ($16,100) low retail ($8658) and average retail ($11406) but that didn't reflect all the accessories you listed (those weren't an option that I could find).

Take it to a dealer and see what they will give you for it. I'd price it somewhere between that price and the retail NADA depending on condition and hours. Vehicle dealers are all looking for product right now. It's a good time to sell one. Remember if you don't have ag exemption tax will play into price when you trade.

Try nadaguides.com to start.
They usually have a list of options that are fairly close and give new list, low retail and high retail.
Then check sites like ATV Trader, craigslist(shudder), Facebook Marketplace, etc. and get a feel for the market.

I always just look at different places on values of something I am going to sell. Where you live sometimes has a different value on a item. Put it up for sale. If it sells quickly you priced it to low. If it doesn't then it is too high. Then adjust accordingly.

This is the best thing. Figure out what others are asking.
