My north field a couple of months ago, it's my best looking. Fields did pretty good this year.
Not seeing many birds this morning though. I have not seen many mourning doves so far this year, mostly seeing whitewings. I have 2 fields mowed and 2 more to go.

All my neighbors to the south of me, and one neighbor to the north of me have had Turner seed come in and harvest all their sunflower fields. Probably in the neighborhood of 350-450 acres of fields...(Note, non of the fields I'm hunting)

Hopefully this makes the fields that were not harvested better. I know they don't get all the seeds when they harvest but they get the biggest majority.

Do they use a regular combine?

Tons of them are sailing by in front of the ranch house. If they continued to do it we could hunt from the front porch.

But just like last year I'm sure they will stop right before the season opens.
