One of my favorite shows. I grew up junking with my dad and enjoy the stuff they buy and see.

I saw you sneak that double entendre in there at the end.

This gives my previous post a whole new perspective.

I'm not a tat fan. But that said, Danielle is an efficient and talented employee. The show always starts with a call on yet another lead. Her preference is her business.

It is widely documented that they have an entire team that finds the leads, not Danny. Also, as soon as the load the van they stop the cameras and unload the van into other vans waiting. I also enjoy learning about the old stuff but this show is just another scripted reality show.

They've driven the value of "junk" sky high. I buy and restore 2 stroke motorcycles from the 70's. You oughta see what some people think that old rusted, seized up, worn out Yamaha mini enduro is worth nowadays!!!! Yea, once restored to factory finish they bring a good price but a full restoration right down to new seals, bearings and chrome is about $1,200.00 in parts and materials alone!

It is partially scripted entertainment. As long as the advertisers pay the bills the show will continue. Same as a lot of the reality shows.

I’d love to do that for a living. Mike/Frank made me lose interest in watching anymore. Danielle has videos out that she may/may not necessarily want on the ol interwebs, as they really shouldn’t be. Burlesque dancing stuff. I want to be built like The Rock, but hey I’m not quite there so you don’t see me posting nekkid videos of myself

Yep. I never thought it was just the three main characters and Mike’s brother finding all the leads.

I bet there are antique dealers across the country that would like to choke them for ruining the market.

They’re just mobile antique dealers. They’re just as expensive, if not more than regular antique dealers. The ones that kill the antique market are the estate sales and online auctions.

I quit watching. They only seemed to care about bikes and oil cans and signs. Saw tons of cool stuff in backgrounds but always defaulted to these two things.
