Woke up Sunday night about midnight and got a drink. On the way back to bed I looked out the window at our coastal field. The full moon was so bright that even my poor eyes could see hogs about 400 yards out. Grabbed the 270 out of the safe, put on my pants and shoes and walked out about 100 yards. Hogs were happily rooting up the field in the moonlight. First shot got the black one, the other two ran about 40 yards and stopped. Second shot got the red one and the spotted one ran right at me. Third shot got the spotted one. Went back to the house and got in bed my wife wakes up and ask where I'd been.
