Problem with some boar mounts, the taxidermist will pull the tusk further out than what they were originally. Kind a fake!

Problem with some boar mounts, the taxidermist will pull the tusk further out than what they were originally. Kind a fake! Most of them use replica teeth not the real ones for shoulder mounts. They come in different sizes. Now euro mounts yes I see it all the time where people pull the cutters out further than where they should be.

There is no substitute for real teeth, plastic works well when done properly, some customers prefer teeth extended on their mounts, personal preference.
The mount above is done with the real teeth in the natural position , more work and more money.
